Cherry Ruby is a very particular liqueur made from the infusion of whole cherries in alcohol and grappa. It is produced following the original 19th century recipe.
The cherries are grown naturally and without treatments, harvested at the maximum level of ripeness and washed by hand; then they are placed in alcoholic infusion for approximately 30 days. After a slow extraction process of the aromatic and coloring substances, the liquid is separated from the fruit. Finally, sugar and grappa are added to make this Rubino unique and unmistakable.
Cherry Ruby has a dark red color with sometimes purple reflections, with a classic intense aroma of berries and red fruits, combined with sweet spicy notes. The taste is soft, typical and delicate, with intense hints of cherry and peony.
Perfect as an ingredient for aperitifs, it is excellent to drink very cold after a meal. It also pairs very well with ice cream, sorbets and fresh fruit salads.
It is recommended to serve at a very low temperature (-5° C) in small long-stemmed spirit glasses.
